Generosity

I see many blogs asking for donations. Our donate request is not for jointeffects overhead or upkeep. Instead, we look for the opportunity to join our green energy together for the upliftment of others. I think we express our desire to uplift humanity by helping others. In our own little way, we save the donations we receive until they add up a bit, and then do something for the upliftment of others.

We've used our DONATE function to buy goats, chickens, sheep, and cows for individuals in remote villages in Africa. We've sent money to several young women who are released from prison after serving an unjust sentence, and must get on their feet again. Last year a Jointeffects' donation helped a retired Buddhist nun make a solitary retreat home to Tibet. It's been this natural cycle of giving and receiving that so many of us find our own experience of gratitude being magnified.

We dedicate each of our small gifts to the generous spirit of all of you who pass through this site. Whatever amount you care to give, whenever you give, thank you.
